Iran Claims Destruction of 16 U.S. Aircraft
According to the report, a total of 16 U.S. aircraft have been destroyed, including 10 MQ-9 Reaper drones. Additionally, six American fighter jets are said to have sustained heavy damage.
The report further claims that three U.S. fighter jets were destroyed in the airspace of Kuwait, with speculation suggesting they may have been hit by friendly fire.
In another incident, a KC-135 Stratotanker reportedly crashed mid-flight, resulting in the deaths of all six crew members on board.
Moreover, five KC-135 refueling aircraft were allegedly damaged in a missile strike attributed to Iran at an airbase in Saudi Arabia.
The report also states that Iranian forces targeted U.S. drones, claiming to have shot down nine Reaper drones, while one drone was reportedly intercepted by a ballistic missile over Jordan.
Despite these claims, U.S. officials have not formally confirmed the losses. Analysts emphasize that such reports during wartime often require independent verification, as conflicting narratives are common in active conflict zones.
