US Sends 15-Point Peace Plan, Iran 6 Key Conditions
According to reports, the US proposal focuses heavily on curbing Iran’s nuclear and military capabilities. Key points include the complete dismantling of Iran’s current nuclear capacity and a permanent commitment not to develop nuclear weapons.
The plan also calls for an end to uranium enrichment on Iranian soil and requires Iran to hand over its enriched uranium stockpile to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Additionally, major nuclear facilities in Natanz, Isfahan, and Fordow must be dismantled.
The US further demands full IAEA access to all Iranian nuclear sites, an end to Iran’s regional proxy network, and a halt to funding allied groups across the region. Iran’s missile program would also face strict limitations in both range and quantity, restricting its use strictly to defensive purposes.
In return, the proposal includes the lifting of international sanctions and potential US support for Iran’s civilian nuclear program. A “snapback mechanism” would remain in place, allowing sanctions to be reimposed automatically if Iran fails to comply.
