Mass Wedding Ceremony
The event was led by Chairperson Sarah Ahmad, who arranged marriages for five young individuals—three girls and two boys—who were raised at the bureau. The مراسم was conducted with the support of philanthropists and was attended by several prominent figures.
Notable attendees included Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Ahmad Khan, and U.S. Consul General Stetson Sanders, along with other government officials, bureaucrats, and members of civil society.
According to Sarah Ahmad, all the brides and grooms were raised at the bureau, where they received quality education and vocational training. The institution helped them become self-reliant and capable of leading independent lives.
She further shared that the couples had their Nikah ceremonies before the holy month of Ramadan, while the main wedding event included complete arrangements such as dowry, clothing, and a wedding feast, all funded by generous donors.
Most of these individuals had been living at the bureau for over a decade and had little or no information about their families. Through continuous care and support, the bureau not only provided them shelter but also empowered them to build a dignified future.
