Pakistan and China Hold Key Talks in Beijing
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar arrived in Beijing on an important one-day official visit at the invitation of Chinese leadership.
Upon arrival, he was received by Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Khalil Hashmi and China’s Ambassador to Pakistan Yue Xiaoyong.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pakistan, Ishaq Dar will meet with his Chinese counterpart to review bilateral relations and discuss matters of mutual interest. The discussions will also cover the evolving regional situation, particularly in light of Middle East tensions, as well as broader global developments.
This marks Ishaq Dar’s second visit to Beijing this year, reflecting the strong and ongoing diplomatic engagement between the two countries.
Despite suffering a shoulder fracture, the foreign minister proceeded with the visit, underscoring Pakistan’s commitment to its relationship with China.
