Cristiano Ronaldo Islam conversion
Ronaldo scored two crucial goals in the match, strengthening his team’s dominance. However, beyond his performance, a particular moment caught widespread attention on social media. Before taking a penalty in the 56th minute, Ronaldo was seen saying “Bismillah,” an Islamic phrase meaning “In the name of God.” He successfully converted the penalty, making the score 3–2, and later added another goal in the 73rd minute.
With this performance, Ronaldo’s career goal tally has reached 967, bringing him closer to the historic milestone of 1,000 goals.
This is not the first time Ronaldo has used Islamic expressions. In December 2025, after winning the Middle East Player of the Year award for the third consecutive time, he used the phrase “Inshallah” during his speech while referring to his goal of reaching 1,000 career goals.
