Heat Intensifies in Karachi Until Tuesday
Officials have indicated a rise in temperatures not only in Karachi but also across parts of Sindh and Balochistan. Meteorological analysts explained that an anticyclonic circulation over the Oman Sea is affecting the flow of sea breezes, contributing to the rising heat levels.
During this period, maximum temperatures in Karachi are expected to range between 37°C and 39°C, while the “feels-like” temperature could reach 38°C to 40°C due to reduced humidity levels.
Experts clarified that this is not a heatwave, and sea breezes are likely to resume at a mild pace during the evening or nighttime, providing some relief.
Looking ahead, there is a possibility of rainfall returning to Karachi and other parts of Sindh by late April or early May, which may help bring temperatures down.
