Pakistani Air Traffic Controllers Earn Global Recognition
According to the Pakistan Airports Authority, the International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers' Associations praised Pakistani controllers for their outstanding handling of increased air traffic in the region.
In an official statement, IFATCA highlighted that due to rising geopolitical tensions and increased airspace demand, Pakistan’s air corridors experienced a significant surge in flight activity. Despite this, controllers successfully managed both scheduled and unscheduled air traffic with remarkable efficiency.
The federation noted that Pakistani controllers maintained the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency, even while working under intense pressure and extended duty hours. Their performance was described as a clear reflection of their expertise, dedication, and resilience.
Furthermore, IFATCA also acknowledged the support of the relevant Pakistani ministry, calling it a key contributor to this achievement.
The Pakistan Airports Authority termed this global recognition a proud moment for the country’s aviation sector, emphasizing the growing reputation of Pakistan’s air traffic management on the international stage.
