Grand Celebrations Held at Lahore’s Liberty Chowk Mark One Year of Battle of Truth Victory
A grand celebration was held at Liberty Chowk in Lahore to mark the completion of one year since the “Battle of Truth” victory, with a large number of people participating in the festivities and a spectacular fireworks display lighting up the night sky.
According to details, the event was organized by the Punjab government and featured a vibrant musical concert where various artists performed for the audience. Renowned singer Sahir Ali Bagga also delivered an energetic performance that received a strong response from attendees.
Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb attended the celebration as a special guest. At midnight, a grand fireworks display illuminated the skies of Lahore with colorful lights and dazzling visuals.
Speaking to participants, Marriyum Aurangzeb said the people of Lahore had once again demonstrated their support for the armed forces of Pakistan. She stated that Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir elevated the country’s prestige following the “Battle of Truth,” while Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif fulfilled his leadership responsibilities effectively.
She further said that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif made Pakistan a nuclear power in May, and that the country achieved a historic victory during the same month last year. She praised Pakistan’s armed forces for strengthening national defense and said Pakistan is now recognized globally as a messenger of peace.
Marriyum Aurangzeb added that the nation pays tribute to Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and thanked both him and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for their leadership. She also announced that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz will address a gathering at Wagah Border on May 10.
The event concluded with patriotic slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad,” passionately echoed by the crowd.
