Powerful Blast Damages Government Girls School Building in Bannu
According to police officials, the blast occurred in the Khairaki area at a Government Girls School Khairaki, where explosive material had been planted on the outer side of the building.
The explosion caused a section of the school’s boundary wall to collapse. Authorities stated that more than 80 female students are enrolled at the school. Fortunately, due to summer vacations, the building was empty at the time of the blast, and no casualties or injuries were reported.
Following the incident, emergency response teams launched rescue and assessment operations at the site. Police cordoned off the area and initiated a search operation to gather evidence and determine those responsible.
Security in the surrounding area has been tightened, and law enforcement agencies are continuing their investigation into the attack.
