4.4-Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Balochistan's Loralai, No Damage Reported
According to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre, the earthquake measured 4.4 on the Richter scale and occurred at a depth of 12 kilometres. The epicentre was located approximately 31 kilometres east of Loralai.
The tremors prompted residents to rush out of their homes and buildings while reciting prayers as a precaution.
Authorities said there were no immediate reports of loss of life or damage to infrastructure, though officials continue to monitor the situation.
Balochistan and several other parts of Pakistan frequently experience seismic activity due to their location along active tectonic fault lines. In recent months, multiple earthquakes have been recorded across the province and other regions of the country, with most causing no significant damage.
