19 Militants Killed, 11 Security Personnel Martyred in Balochistan Operation
The operation was conducted between Jhao Cross and Kararo on the N-25 Highway after security agencies received credible intelligence that armed militants were blocking the road and allegedly extorting money from travelers and local residents.
According to security sources, troops launched a swift operation against the militants, resulting in the deaths of 19 attackers, while several others were reportedly injured.
During the operation, 11 members of the security forces lost their lives while fighting the militants.
Security officials said the operation reflects the forces' commitment to safeguarding the lives and property of citizens, ensuring the security of national highways, and preventing militant groups from disrupting peace and stability in Balochistan.
Authorities have reiterated that operations against militant groups will continue until the region is cleared of security threats.
